The effects of a global thermonuclear war, realistically considered. At once reassuring (the whole world wouldn't die) and terrifying (about half the human population would, including most of North America and nearly all of Europe).
Microsoft's doom predicted. Again.
Warrior... king... lover. All true. But Alexander the great was gay, dammit! Colin Farrel is totally overrated and also, we just saw this movie. It was called Troy. Why are we seeing it again?
Contrary to the views of my classics-loving friends, I actually really liked Troy. Yes, it wasn't true to the legend, but Lord of the Rings isn't true to the books either and that doesn't mean they were crappy movies. Yes, Pitt doesn't have nearly the gravitas that Crowe did in Gladiator. Yes, the whole horse thing was unbelievably stupid, as was the whole "we hid 1,000 big-ass sailing ships in the bay next door" trick. But on the other hand, it was three hours of gorgeously realised sets, beautiful shots and grand cinematic spectacle. It may not have been accurate, but it looked real. It was pretty. And, truth be told, that's all that I demand out of cinema these days.

The countdown has already begun to when she regrets ever saying anything about clothing. Also, what's really horrifying about this article is that it's considered totally unremarkable that an eleven year old was unable to spell the words "suggest", "supposed" and "clerk". This article has however finally explained a long-standing mystery: where do all those frumpy southern redneck women buy those horrible clothes they wear?
I got 9/10 in the mobile phone addict quiz. Should I worry? On the other hand, I'm about to start working for a company which is closely involved in the mobile phone market, so it's probably a good thing that I know so much about it, huh?
